My first game ever submitted to a Game Jam! Had some quite neat ideas, but had to drop them. We always think we have more time than we actually have, right? Hopefully in the next one I can deliver a complete package!

Game is about a lone and dark samurai who long lost most of his humanity. Upon claiming the souls of his foes, he goes on living, healing all the damage that the years dealt him. However, living so long comes at a price. As long as he's willing to live, having a purpose or not, he needs to constantly claims other souls that stays wandering right next to his body, as blood spheres pumping like hearts. Whenever he loses those souls, his death slowly approaches him. Despite being able to claim more and more souls to replace his lost ones, a deadly enemy always lives near him, almost hiding like a shadow. When too many souls are claimed, the threads of fate itself dispatches a deadly weapon embodied in a tall knight thirsty for the soul of the samurai. So, the lone warrior always finds himself in a balance of life and death. Will he be strong enough to hold his thirst for souls to avoid dealing with a greater evil than himself, or will he succumb to the hunger and deal with the shadow that constantly hunts him?

Plug in any controller and have fun trying to find your way out of this mad world!

Basic controls:

- D-pad: general movement.

- Y: slash.

- B: up slash.

- A: jump.

Note: the controls are based on an X-BOX controller template and there's no difference (unfortunately) between "slash" and "up slash".
